Email: sales@piggybacking.de

2. Purposes of Processing
We process personal data for the operation and security of this website, to provide technical functionality, to respond to quote requests and dealer inquiries, to communicate by email or phone, to store and manage form submissions, to manage consent preferences and, where consent has been given, to analyze website usage and prepare conversion tracking.
If visitors from the United States submit a quote request or dealer inquiry, the information entered is processed to answer the request, check fitment, prepare recommendations and communicate about pricing, availability, shipping and potential dealer cooperation.
3. Legal Bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing may be based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for secure website operation, server logs and technical functionality; Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual quote and product communication; and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where explicit consent is requested, for example for analytics, marketing, external media or newsletter communication.
4. Hosting and Server Logs
When this website is accessed, technical information such as IP address, access time, requested URL, browser information and server status codes may be processed. This is necessary for stable operation, security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Hosting provider, where applicable: STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany.
5. Quote Requests, Contact Forms and Dealer Inquiries
When visitors use a contact, quote or dealer inquiry form, the data entered in the form is processed to handle the request. This may include name, email address, phone number, country or state, truck make, model and year, bed length, tailgate or loading height, motorcycle model, motorcycle weight, requested setup, dealer interest and message content.
Form data may be stored in Elementor Submissions and may also be transferred to internal lead or CRM workflows such as FluentCRM. This helps us keep track of requests, regions, interests, lead status, consent status and follow-up communication.
6. Email and Phone Communication
After a form submission or direct inquiry, we may contact you by email or phone to answer questions, request missing information, provide setup recommendations or discuss quote details. We do not use this website for online ordering or payment processing.
7. Newsletter and Event Updates
Forms may include a separate optional checkbox for occasional PiggyBack updates, events, product news and offers by email. This checkbox is voluntary and is not required to submit a quote request. Newsletter or event communication is only sent when the relevant consent has been given and, where configured, confirmed through a double opt-in process. You may unsubscribe at any time.
8. Consent Management
This website uses a consent management solution to record and manage visitor choices for necessary functions, statistics, marketing and external media. Necessary functionality may be used without consent where it is required for operation and security. Statistics, marketing and external media are only activated according to the consent settings.
9. Google Tag Manager, GA4 and Consent Mode
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 may be used to measure website usage and important website interactions. The implementation is configured with Google Consent Mode v2. Before consent, analytics and advertising storage are denied by default. After consent, the relevant consent states may be updated according to the visitor's choice.
Possible tracked interactions include region selection, quote CTA clicks, form starts, form submissions, phone clicks, email clicks and video clicks. Google Ads conversion tracking and enhanced conversions may be technically prepared but are only used when the required IDs, configuration and consent conditions are in place.
10. YouTube Videos
Videos on this website are loaded using a click-to-load approach. YouTube content is not loaded automatically when the page opens. Only after a visitor actively clicks a video, a connection to YouTube/Google may be established and technical information such as IP address and browser data may be transferred. Where possible, youtube-nocookie.com is used.
11. Recipients and Service Providers
Personal data may be processed by service providers used for hosting, WordPress, Elementor, forms, SMTP/email delivery, consent management, analytics, CRM or newsletter functionality. Data is shared only where necessary to operate the website, process requests, manage consent, communicate with leads or comply with legal obligations.
12. Storage Period
Quote requests, contact forms and dealer inquiries are stored for as long as necessary to process the request, follow up on the lead and comply with legal retention requirements. Server logs are stored only as long as necessary for operation, security and troubleshooting. Newsletter consent records are kept until consent is withdrawn or the contact is deleted, subject to documentation obligations.
13. Your Rights
Where applicable under the GDPR, individuals may have rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to certain processing activities. To exercise these rights, please contact sales@piggybacking.de.
14. Withdrawal of Consent and Unsubscribe
Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Newsletter or event communication can be unsubscribed from using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting sales@piggybacking.de.
15. Complaint
Where GDPR applies, individuals have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates applicable data protection law.
16. SSL/TLS Encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect data transmitted between your browser and our server.
17. Automated Decision-Making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, is used to make legally significant decisions about visitors or leads.
